FACTON EPC 10.4 CM

  • An error during the versioning of costing types was fixed. After versioning, the costing type was saved as a regular single project. The error occurred when an additional domain logic for versioning was activated in the system settings. However, this setting is being deactivated by default, so that this error will not occur during versioning. Up until version 10.4, it is highly recommended to have this specific setting deactivated when working with costing types.
  • #13598: An error in copying data from Excel to FACTON was fixed. Despite apparently having the same number formats between Excel and FACTON, the values were not being copied correctly. The error occurred when copying several cells in Excel while the thousands delimiters used for German numbers (period) is configured in FACTON. Independent from the settings in Excel, the values in a multi-selection are always transferred with the English decimal notation (commas instead of periods), leading to a wrong interpretation of the copied Excel values in FACTON. However, the bugfix does not apply when copying individual cells with different number formats in Excel because these values are provided as plain texts only. It is therefore recommended to use the same number format settings from Excel in FACTON.
  • #13609: An error in the Excel import settings was fixed. Changes in the import group folders were not always saved correctly.
  • #13716: An error in the “Save as” process of project versions with different costing scheme statuses was fixed.
  • #13684: The performance of switching alternatives has been improved. When the quantity node was hidden, the switch took longer than usual.
